Equipment Donations:

We collect new and used roller skating equipment and ship or send in people's luggage to community’s who have more difficulty accessing equipment. The purpose of this project is to help leagues expand recruitment and retention by making equipment more readily available.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Equipment Logistics Intern

Derby Without Borders is looking for a volunteer intern to help manage and facilitate our Equipment Distribution Program. This role is currently unpaid, but has room to develop into a paid work pending funding.

Derby Without Borders is an organization that seeks to make the sport of roller derby more accessible by removing financial, geographic and institutional barriers that may prevent individuals and teams from participating in the sport at all levels of engagement.

Duties Include:

Contacting current collection points and overseeing inventory at various sites.

Corresponding with leagues in need of receiving equipment

Facilitating communications and shipment or delivery between collection points and equipment recipients

Scheduling and organizing equipment collection booths and recipients

Volunteers should have the following:

10 hours a week to spend on this role
Good written communication skills
Good correspondence skills

Volunteers with the following would be especially interesting to us:

Skill in languages other than English
